Domaine Michelot - At the heart of the Meursault vineyard for 6 generations

At the heart of the Meursault vineyard, Domaine Michelot spans 19 hectares and has enjoyed remarkable success since the 1960s. New generations have been carrying on and developing the family expertise for six generations now.

Thanks to the varying slopes of its vineyard plots, the Domaine offers a diverse terroir with a wide range of wines: Côte de Beaune wines in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay under the appellations of Meursault and Santenay, as well as Premiers Crus wines.

To bring out the unique characteristics of each terroir, Domaine Michelot follows sustainable farming practices, limiting the use of phytosanitary treatments and favouring responsible, committed soil management (ploughing, mowing, and grass cover). Wishing to preserve its independence, Domaine Michelot has deliberately chosen not to pursue any official certification. Nevertheless, the winemakers hold a strong ambition: to encourage the vine to protect itself and naturally stimulate its own defence mechanisms, for a more responsible approach to viticulture.
