Domaine Romanin - At the heart of the Pouilly-Fuissé vigneyard for five generations
Located in the village of Fuissé, Burgundy, at the heart of the renowned Pouilly-Fuissé wine region, Domaine Romanin perpetuates five generations of winemaking expertise and tradition.
The estate covers more than 10 hectares of clay-limestone soils, characteristic of the Mâconnais region and ideal for the harmonious development of aromas. This distinctive terroir is particularly evident in the estate’s flagship Pouilly-Fuissé wines, produced exclusively from Chardonnay grapes. The wines of Domaine Romanin reveal delicate fruity and floral notes, while the vines, ranging from 30 to 70 years of age, contribute depth and complexity to both the “Traditional” and “Old Vines” cuvées.
Committed to preserving the typicity and authenticity of Burgundy wines, Domaine Romanin follows a sustainable viticultural approach. Organic fertilizers are used, phytosanitary treatments are kept to a minimum, recycling is encouraged, and continuous investment is made in modern equipment to ensure the quality and longevity of the estate’s wines.
Food and wine pairing
Pouilly-Fuissé pairs beautifully with shellfish such as crab and lobster, cooked fish dishes including salmon and monkfish, as well as white meats served with creamy sauces.... Mâcon-Fuissé and Solutré-Pouilly are excellent companions to oysters in aspic, grilled fish, and traditional mussels marinière.
