Domaine Caroline Parent - The legacy of two great winemaking families in Pommard

Daughter of François Parent and Anne-Françoise Gros, Caroline Parent is the heir to two of the most illustrious dynasties in Burgundy winemaking: the Gros family, vignerons of the Côte de Nuits, renowned for their prestigious Échézeaux Grand Cru and Richebourg Grand Cru, and the Parent family, vignerons of the Côte de Beaune, whose François carries on a savoir-faire passed down from generation to generation. This exceptional double heritage gives the wines of Caroline Parent a unique identity, blending the finesse and depth of both great Burgundian Côtes.

Domaine Caroline Parent, located in Pommard between Beaune and Volnay in the Côte d’Or, produces mainly red wines from Pinot Noir, spanning Villages and Premier Cru appellations such as Pommard, Nuits-Saint-Georges and Volnay, as well as Grands Crus such as Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru and Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru.

The estate also offers a remarkable range of white wines, including Meursault Villages and Premier Cru from the Chardonnay grape. A comprehensive range that reflects the ambition and rigour of this passionate winemaker, whose cuvées stretch along the Route des Grands Crus from the Côte de Beaune to the Côte de Nuits.

The butterfly label also carries a touching family story: this motif, engraved in a notebook by Caroline's great-great-grandmother — a student at the Beaux-Arts in Dijon in the 1920s — has been passed down through the generations to grace the bottles of the domaine today.
