Domaine des Beaumont – Exceptional Wines from the Côte de Nuits
Representing the 7th generation of winegrowers, Thierry Beaumont carries on a family tradition deeply rooted in Burgundy in Gold Coast, across the villages of Morey-Saint-Denis and Gevrey-Chambertin.
The Domaine des Beaumont spans 5.5 hectares across three iconic villages of the Côte de Nuits: Morey-Saint-Denis, Gevrey-Chambertin, and Chambolle-Musigny. Nestled along the prestigious Route des Grands Crus, at the heart of the Burgundy Climats listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the estate is part of a viticultural heritage that is truly unique in the world.
The domaine produces predominantly red wines from Pinot Noir, the emblematic grape variety of the Côte de Nuits, as well as white wines made from Chardonnay.
Its vineyards span several tiers of Burgundian appellations: Villages appellations such as Morey-Saint-Denis, Premier Cru wines including Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru and Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru, as well as prestigious Grands Crus wines such as Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru.
Ever attentive, Thierry Beaumont continually adapts his practices in service of wine quality, land sustainability, and the passing on of expertise. A true artisan at heart (producing around 30,000 bottles per year), the Domaine des Beaumont relies on a great number of manual processes, from the vineyard to the cellar.
Thierry favours a reasoned approach to viticulture, with deep respect for terroir and natural yeasts. Independent in his choices, he works with rigour and passion, with the goal of handing down to future generations the full richness of his land.
